Isis is a Mommy’s Girl

What? It’s true!
See, I understand that she doesn’t like being by herself, and that she’s always sad when mommy leaves for work and we’re all alone, but I never really realized just how much of a mommy’s girl she really is until today. There are times Isis starts bawling when the humans leave us, but today, when grandma came home she stayed hidden away. We checked the whole house, kitchen, dinning room, living room, mommy’s room, even the bathroom. We checked windows, under furniture, and even in closets. Grandma and I couldn’t find her at all.
Grandma even called mommy at work to ask about her.
I was getting kind of worried, but I knew she was in the house sulking somewhere because I knew she had been here when mommy left. Isis missed dinner time and everything too, but then mommy came home after 10pm and Isis just came out of nowhere. Isis ran up to mommy and welcomed her home, she told her how much she missed her and even started purring for her. And all before mommy could even get in the door too!
She hasn’t left mommy’s side since either. She’s followed her all through the house, stayed with her when she changed out of work clothes and got comfy, sat in her lap as mommy read her mail. Isis even ate spaghetti with mommy!
Mommy tried to give me some of her spaghetti too, but I didn’t like. Of course Isis was happy to eat it for me though. I’ve never seen Isis eat noodles that don’t have chicken with them though, and even then, they have to be saturated in chicken flavor. This was just plain spaghetti with a herb taste, but she ate it anyway, and she was purring the whole time.
I wish Isis wouldn’t act like this, she worries grandma and mommy…and me too, I guess. Not to mention, she’s older than me, she should be used to this by now and understand that mommy can’t be with her all the time.

That is rather scary behavior. I wonder if Isis knows she’s getting old, and wants to spend time with her Momma.
