I’m told that today, Thanksgiving Day, is more than just “Turkey Day”.

You couldn’t prove it to me! I see all that food, Isis always in the kitchen helping the humans cook, and the football game that mommy and the old man are always yelling about. I know what turkey day is really about.

Isis sayz I have it wrong though. You’re supposed to be thankful today that you has a good meal, family, and home. I’m thankful for that. But I’m really thankful there is turkey. I just wish I wasn’t banned from the kitchen every time the humans cook. They let Isis in, why not me? Sure, Isis doesn’t jump on the counters and stoves and she does let the humans know when food is ready so they don’t even use teh timer. But I am teh official food tester! It is my job to taste the food!

But I am a thankful kitty though! I am very thankful that I have a happy and loving home, I have a wonderful mommy and grandma, Isis is a great sister, and the old man spoils me rotten. I’m thankful for my hunting skillz and my pretty fur too. But most of all, I’m thankful my humans are very very good cooks

Now I shall go back to my turkey dinner! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
