I feel very sorry for mommy right now. She just got her finances under control, got a new job, and paid off her car. Now it turns out that her car got pretty busted up in the accident because it’s looking to cost close to $2,000 dollars to get it fixed just so she can drive it. That means it’ll still look funny because it’s dinged up.

Apparently the high cost comes as a result of the…suspension …getting really messed up. And the parts, despite being the cheapest affordable, are still pricey.

I wonder how mommy is going to get everything taken care of. I wonder if it will help her any to take my Christmas gifts back to the store. I know she’s already bought them, I can see boxes at the top of the closet that weren’t there before after all.

Denali doesn’t seem to understand what this could mean. She seems excited over everything and instead of trying to go for a ride in mommy’s car, has just switched to trying to jump into the old man’s truck when mommy is going somewhere.
