Mommy’s day may not be until May, but Denali and I are already hard at work trying to mommy a suitable gift. See, since mommy is having so much trouble with the humans that pay her (they’re being real mean to her and making her sit like a dog at home) we thought this year’s gift should be extra special. Which is why I have forbidden Denali from getting mommy any lizards, mice, snakes, or birds – dead or alive. Of course that leaves us with only the option to buy a gift, which means we’re looking to see what’s on sale.

Denali seems to think mommy would like chocolate candy. I’ve got her number though, I know Denali wants it for herself. Around this time of year, aside from specific kinds of candy, mommy doesn’t each much chocolate. There is a human holiday around her birthday that requires humans give each other candy and heart stuff. She gets double and triple the amounts people normally get so she gets burned on chocolate for a while.

I was actually thinking of getting mommy something she could use, like an 8GB Dae-Elec USB. See, mommy likes to back up all her files and she actually kept one of those USBs for just her music files alone. This way if her iTunes ever went crazy she could reinstall it and not loose her music. She was using a 2GB USB for a while but she stopped backing up her music for a while…

Scary Huh?! Mommy has 5.36GB of songs on there! According to those states it would take 3 days for her to listen to every single one of her songs once. What’s really scary is that she’s not finished adding to that collection yet either. It grows with every new song that comes at that she likes, not to mention she’s still got a bunch of old songs she’s trying to find and download. Ooh, and the soundtracks, especially the anime ones, that’s a lot of music to be added in the near future.

My mommy has such weird taste too. Especially that Rob Zombie guy, he’s just scary. That one song (Dra-gu-la?) always gives me the creeps and makes me hide. Grandma thinks it’s funny and even mommy giggles. On second thought, maybe I don’t want her backing up her music. Maybe a popcorn tin would be better.
