Breakfast Delivery

Mom says that the only thing she really dislikes about living out in the country is the fact that everything is kinda far away and closes early. This means that if she wants something to eat she’s gotta drive a couple of miles to the closest gas station. She also says it bites that she has to go pick up food and can’t have it delivered. I dunno what she’s complaining about though, I say the delivery service out here works just fine.

See, I was feeling kinda hungry this morning but I didn’t want kitty food. I wanted something nice and fresh so I went outside and sure enough, breakfast had already been delivered. Good thing too, ’cause it was around 5am and mom does not like getting up at this hour.

A succulent, plump field mouse, served just the way I like it.
Frightened and ready to run but with no where to go. I loves playing with my food (yes I know, good kitties don’t play with their food) and it always makes the food taste that much better. Toss ‘em in the air, let them run then pounce – it’s all good. It’s especially fun when they really think they’ve escaped and then you go NOT!

Breakfast is served! Yummy! Scared plump mouse, let’s do breakfast.

Our mommy had mice before she got us, now we can’t find any. Guess they know to stay out side.

LOL Cats,
Denali caught that mouse outside thankfully. The last time she managed to find one in the house she tore the kitchen apart! I never get to catch any mice either. They’re outside here too and I’m not really allowed outside much. I get into too much trouble when I’m outside alone, at least that’s what mommy says.

[...] Denali at Kitty Kitty – is playing with her food. Well, who would not like to play with such lovely foodz? As she says “it tastes so much better this way”! ME agrees! [...]

Way to go Denali! That will teach the mousie to invade your space. But I like to play with my food too, although mum prefers I not eat the mousies, just kill them!
