Of Spammers and Nice Smelling Candles

When I checked my email today I was so happy. I had so many new comment notifications I almost cried. Then sadly I logged into the blog and found out it was the work of a spammer. She hit just about every post we made in the months of February and March, and each comment was paw-entered since she responded, in part, to the post. Denali thinks we should edit her comments and then approve them. I just deleted them. They were really silly things too, like on the post where we mentioned mommy’s car was sick, she wrote:
I’m sorry to hear about your car troubles. You should change your car’s policy, and while you’re at it, get some term life insurance quotes [...]
It went on and on with a bunch of links to different companies. So weird. Kitties don’t need that stuff, our humans do, but not us. Although, I could try to tell mommy I guess. But she has selective hearing sometimes.
In any case, the real reason I’m here today is to talk about these wonderful smelling candles that mommy likes to buy. They’re called Pet Odor Exterminator Candles and they really do smell very nice and get rid of the icky litter box smell too, not just cover it up. That’s a tough feet to accomplish too, especially after Denali’s been using it.

Mommy buys these every time she takes us to the vet to see Dr. Calista. I don’t like getting shots at all, but I will admit that she is a very nice human so it’s not so bad. Anyway, mommy finished the last candle she had, it was the vanilla creme one, and was saying she hopes it’s time for us to go to the vet soon so she has an excuse to buy some more.
I forgot mommy has an evil side to her.
I tried to look for an online store where she could buy them, but I noticed that the candles I found at Amazon, Shopzilla, and other places that are called “Pet Odor Exterminator Candle” as well have different labels. There is apparently a difference between the ones sold at pet shops and the one sold at the vet’s office. Those found at the vet’s even have the “veterinarians” mention on the label and the design is different. I have no idea what the difference is though. I did find one place that sold the ones that are the exact same ones mommy gets at the vet, I dunno if she would order from them since it seems you have to email them to place an order. I wonder if mommy would accept a substitute? I hope so, because even if Dr. Calista is nice and all, I still don’t want to go get shots!
The flavors that mommy tends to buy are: Fresh Strawberries, Vanilla Creme, and Orange Blossom. I’m sure the other flavors smell just as nice though.

That sucks that you got so much spam. I guess you should change your settings so any posts with links need to be moderated. Those candles sound pretty good actually. Anything that eliminates odor and creates a fresh smell in its place is good.
