Happy Easter Everyone!

Denali

I tired, I tried really hard to catch Mr. Easter Bunny this year but that slippery guy gave me the slip again. :( I never saw him come at all! One minute nothing, the next I spy colors on the lawn. I even made sure to wake mom up early too. She was a bit grumpy about waking up around 3-ish, but she got her laundry done!

And for being a good girl mom gave me my Easter toy first. I got a purple plushy fishy who has a gold bow. Mom can dangle him on a string for me or I can play on my own too. Naturally I like mom playing with me too.

Haha! My purple fishy could not gets away from me, I am the ultimate fisher-cat!

Even with my fun new toy it was hard waiting for mom to get home and Mr. Easter Bunny to arrive. When she finally got home I couldn’t wait until mom put the laundry away so we could go outside. Isis was such a lazy-bones and dragged her paws getting ready. Mom wanted her in her hoodie or a sweater, but they were dirty and needed to be washed.

I had already seen some color on the lawn, so I knew where to look as soon as mom opened the door. I made a dash for the colorful spot I’d seen from the window and there it was – my Golden Egg.

Isis calls it yellow though. She’s color-blind. :P Isis, naturally, found a pink egg. Then I spied something another colorful spot on the lawn just as Isis let out an Ahah-meow; it was a race to see who got there first. Mom would make a bad umpire-human. She called it a tie when I clearly beat Isis by a tail! So since it was a tie we had to split the prize – a pretty blue egg:

The blue egg had a cool ball and this little squishy thing that smelled heavenly – cat nip! We had to split it, and since Isis always gets the nip toys and leaves me with the balls when she can, I nabbed the nip toy first! Beat that Isis!

My egg had kitty treats and a cool pink and yellow ball with a bell – so fun! I can’t wait to play with it and eat the treats. Mom says we cant eats them all at once though. Poo.

So how was your Easter? I hope everyone’s is as fun as mine! :) Happy Easter!!
