Not Welcome Here

Isis

It was priceless, yes it was. You had to be there to see it.

We’ve been getting a lot of strange humans knocking on our doors lately. Everything from salesmen selling kitchen knives to Georgia auto insurance. Mommy’s stopped answering the door now. Which is probably a good thing for those humans who always shove these paper magazines that say “Watchtower” underneath the bars on the screen door. She really doesn’t like them at all and has no problem telling them to get lost.

Can you blame her? Who likes people who give you their trash every week and will not listen to you when you tell them you don’t want it and not to come back?

Just a little while ago a guy rode up on a motorcycle. It was really loud and kinda scary. Mommy was in the bathroom and didn’t get the door right away. Shizuku was outside in the backyard on his chain and big mamma was in the house. They both started barking like crazy, but the guy never left and he never came to the door either. Just sat their making his bike growl and talking on a phone. Shizuku decided he had had enough and he busted his chain and charged the guy all the while barking and telling him to leave.

Shizuku is very laid back and nice, for a dog, but when he gets mad he gets scary. He’s a lot like Mommy in that respect I guess. In any case, the guy took off right away. Shizuku scared him good. Mommy has to fix Shizu’s chain now, poor Mommy. Doggies are always making messes. But I guess, for a doggie, Shizuku is alright.

I gotta go drag Denali out from her hiding spot now. Any time the dogs bark she runs and hide. Scaredy-cat.
