Don’t Take My Chair!

Denali

The humans were trying to get rid of stuff today. They cleaned out one of the storage sheds and were throwing away boxes and boxes of stuff. There were clothes and even some books that got thrown out. I thought for sure Mom would stop ‘em from throwing those out but she actually helped. They’re going to some group of humans called the “Salvation Army“. They spent all afternoon and this evening out there doing this!

Not all of the stuff being thrown out was going to those humans though. Some stuff was really just being trashed. :( Including my favorite chair!

The humans have a nice set of outdoor chairs for them and others to sit on so I don’t see why they couldn’t leave my chair alone. It used to have a nice cushion attached to it, but the doggies tore it up. It’s very comfortable to lay on and can be tipped over on unsuspecting doggies easily too. When they threw my chair in the truck to throw it away I cried. Then I climbed into the truck and curled up in my chair. Where my chair goes I go!

Mom was merciful though and took the chair out of the truck when she saw I wasn’t budging, even after they started the truck and it started rolling down the driveway. I knew it was a test you see, like a game of chicken.

Mom placed the chair underneath and behind my favorite tree in the back of the yard so it’s “out of sight” and I can still have my chair. That’s twice now I’ve had to fight for it.

Well that’s sweet of your Momma to let you keep your chair.
