It’s very cold in the house right now. Mom is having trouble getting the heater lit. Apparently it has “pilot” and the “pilot” may be broken or out because it won’t “catch”. Now, I am a very smart kitty and I pride myself on understanding humans and their ways. But this talk of “pilots” and “catching” has me very confused. I think Mommy is confused too. Pilots are humans that fly big things in the air and catching is part of games like football and baseball. What they have to do with turning on the heater and warming up this old cold house is beyond me!

Mommy has some small little heaters you plug in going though. One in the bedroom, one in the living room, and one in the bathroom. So I’m curled up in front of the one in the living room which has Mommy upset because I’m, apparently, “hogging all the heat”. Hmph. Let that be incentive for you to stop playing around and get the heater turned on Mommy!

The tv is on right now and just a minute ago I saw a very funny commercial. They mentioned offering spa filters and pool cleaning services. Silly humans, what human in their right mind would be swimming and using a pool right now with this kind of weather? It’s cold, raining, and windy? And there was some snow that fell last night but didn’t stick. Who would need that stuff right now?
