It was very windy today. And when it’s windy Mommy is supposed to make sure that anything that can get blown away, or at the very least, knocked around is brought inside or placed in the storage shed. Well Mommy was lazy this morning and slept in. Then she did a lot of house chores in the house to avoid going outside because it was really windy out there and there was a ton of dust getting kicked up in the air.

When Mommy went outside to check the mailbox a little while ago she came upon a sad discovery.

Two of the lawn chairs were left outside in the wind. They were knocked around like crazy and one was even in the field behind the house. The chairs were recovered just fine but the same can’t be said for the patio cushions. One is all muddy and will have to be washed thoroughly before I ever nap on it again. The other got caught in the barbwire fence that surrounds the field across the street. It was all tangled up in it and torn up. I think Mommy is going to try to patch it up. It’ll never be the same though.

Bad Mommy. I trust you to take care of comfy spots. Now where will I nap when I go outside?
