Super Bowl XLIV with Denali!

Oh, oh, there’s a lot of excitement in the house right now. Mom has been putting in lots and lots of hours in front of the comp working but not she’s calling a break and kicking back. She’s running around getting the folding table set up in the living room and bringing out bags of chips, cans and jars of dip, and there’s even a summer sausage still wrapped in plastic on it. There’s more goodies in the fridge, but Mom says she won’t bring those out till later.
So what’s with the excitement? Wells you should already know, it’s Super Bowl Sunday and the New Orleans Saints are playing the Indianapolis Colts!! Mom and I root for the Cowboys all the time, but since they didn’t go (again) Mom is rooting for the Saints. She really doesn’t care for the Colts, but she doesn’t hate ‘em like she does the Patriots, 49ers, Steelers, and Vikings though, so she’s going for the Saints. The Saints are a team she sorta-likes so that’s good. I’m going for the Saints too ’cause Mom is.

See, I’ve already staked out my spot on the couch. I’ve been watching the pre-game stuff they have on. Kinda boring but exciting too. Seeing all hyped up and running around, not to mention all the food, has me extra eager. I love the spreads Mom makes for games, but this one is huuuuge. *drools*
Isis doesn’t get the fuss, but then she’s weird. Silly Isis, you don’t have to understand or like the humans’ football to enjoy the food.
There’s aren’t any fancy entertainment centers in this house, just Mom’s 20″ tv hooked into the stereo for big sound. Still though, it’s gonna be good. Oh yeahs, I can’t waits! Mom will probably get kinda crazy during the half-time show though ’cause it’s The Who playing. I’ll try and take pictures of her being silly for everyone.
Be backs later with updates and thoughts on the game!
