Happy Easter!

Isis

Happy Easter everyone! If you celebrate today, be it the religious stuff or the furry bunny who comes by and drops eggs for kitties to find, I hope you have a wonderful day today filled with fun and lots of yummy goodies to eat. :)

This morning, Denali and I went Easter egg hunting again this year and Mr. Easter Bunny left us some treat filled eggs again! Well, for the most part he did anyway. You see…

We think maybe the Stork forgot to deliver baby announcements to the appropriate Bird-parents and so their new baby got mixed in with our eggs. See, Easter eggs are supposed to be colorful and the third egg we found was definitely not colorful. After some deliberation, Denali and I came to the conclusion that the third egg must have been meant for Mommy. Perhaps Mr. Easter Bunny wanted to make sure Mommy ate breakfast? Well, actually, since the egg we found was bigger then any egg we’ve seen fall from a bird’s nest, Denali is convinced that it is the offspring of the dreaded Birdzilla (remember him?). So Denali thought that we should let Mommy have the egg because she’s tough enough to handle Birdzilla if he wants to pick a fight.

Scaredy-cat.

Mommy made us a special Easter lunch and we got treats from Mommy too. Including some new mice and some ‘nip. But the best gift of all was a new dress! You can see it better in this picture:

It says “Drama Queen” on the back and has a pretty pink bow with a heart crystal attached to the left shoulder. I love it! Mommy ruined the moment though when she mentioned that this would also be the outfit I wear when we go to the vet. Dr. Calista likes seeing me in my different outfits, so every year we go, I wear something new.

So how was your Easter? I hope everyone managed to find some eggs and treats!

Our Easter was terrific. The best part was that Mom was home all day. That sure is a pretty dress. Too bad you have to wear it to the vet. Hope all is well. Have a great day and a great week.

We had a nice Easter – we played and napped and ate.

That’s a very pretty dress and you’re a sweet girl to wear it. Neither one of us would be good about wearing clothes!

Have a nice weekend,
Charlemagne and Tamar
