Welcome to the profile page of the one and only Denali! This page is completely mine, to do with as I so please! Technically, my posts are my own too, but I know Isis goes back in and fixes my grammars. She’s really picky like that. But we made a promise that neither one of us would even touch each other’s profile pages. So this is a completely Isis-paws-free zone! Hellz Yea!
Now, to tell you a little about me. My name is Denali (duh!) and I multicolored, long-haired, American tabby. My mommy calls me her “Maneki Neko”, which means good luck cat in Japanese. She’s a big Japanese-freak btw. Apparently, there is this superstition that Calico cats that have seven colors in their fur are good luck cats. And one day, when I was really little, while my mommy was brushing my furs, she counted seven different colors in my fur. They’re really noticeable after I gets my fur-cut in the summer! After that, she started calling me her own good luck cat.
Let’s see, what else? Oh! I love hunting, I mean really, really love hunting. Lizards are fun to catch, but not much of a challenge. Plus there isn’t much meat on them. I really love hunting birds, like the annoying punks that build their nests under the humans’ carport, and gophers. Gophers have mean teeth and the can run really fast for being such fat rodents. Mommy also doesn’t like me hunting them either, she worries too much. But what she doesn’t know won’t hurt her. Right?
Squirrels are ok I guess, but that’s mostly because the dogs have dibs on them.
Oh! Snakes are fun to hunt too, especially when I leave them places grandma will find them. She always jumps and makes a funny face while she makes this really loud and funny noise. It’s so much fun!
I really like to play pranks and I’ve a very curious cat too, oh, and I’m not very patient either. But I’m working on that. Mommy and grandma hate it when I jump on the stove to grab a snack to eat instead of asking for kitty food. But I can’t help that human food smells so yummy.
I haven’t managed to perfect getting the food off the stove or grill without getting my fur or whiskers hurt…yet…but I will eventually!
