Hello, my name is Isis, and I am a Seal Point-Tabby mix. I was born late August of ’95 and I was the runt of my litter. When my mommy was looking to adopt a kitten she was actually presented with the option of adopting two of my older brothers, Kingsley and Winston, but someone else got to adopt them before she even got to meet them. The lady who was trying to find homes for us didn’t think I would make it because I was a very sickly kitten. In the end, mommy was appalled that someone would just “give up” on a pretty baby like me and took me home. There I got to meet my older sister, Misty, who is no longer with us.
The three of us had a very rough start at first. Misty resented a new sibling, and because I was always sick, not to mention I hadn’t been weened yet either, I took up a lot of mommy’s time. Grandma was always there to intervene though when tempers rose. 
I am very grateful that my mommy had enough room in her heart to take me because I have spent many happy years with her. I’ve seen my mommy enter what she called “middle school” (no, I have no idea what it’s between either), graduate from “high school” and even go to “college” and “work”.
I’m a fairly simple cat. I enjoy taking naps, spending time with mommy, eating grass, playing with my toys, trying on new outfits, and Christmas lights. Every year mommy and I go to see the Christmas lights, I especially like the elaborate displays people put up. One year a nice old couple even let me ride the carousel they had set up in their Christmas display that had stuffed snowmen and reindeer riding it. It was a lot of fun! 
Of course, I love it when we decorate the house too. I can spend hours sitting in front of the Christmas tree just staring at the lights.
And I’ve only knocked the tree down a grand total of three times.
Despite my love of Christmas, I don’t really like the winter much at all. When it’s cold I just want to curl up in a warm spot and hibernate all winter long. Not to mention, I get colds and sneeze and wheeze a lot too. It’s something that is left over from my kittenhood.

Hello Isis, you are gorgeous. I am so pleased your Mommy persevered with you as a kitten, she did a wonderful job. You are so brave going out to see the Christmas displays!
