I’ve always known that dogs only think with their tummies, I just gotta look at Shizuku and Big Mamma to prove this theory true. I honestly never understand why mommy feels so safe with them. To me I make a much better guardian. I mean come on, the first time I met mommy’s aunt I knew she was a bad person and I attacked her. It wasn’t until afterward, when mommy stopped laughing and thanked me, did she tell me about her. I didn’t need explanations to know she should be chased from the house!

But all doggies, even the best of guard dogs, are very gullible:

Police believe three men used hot dogs to distract a Labrador retriever and make off with seven guns.

Raw hot dogs were found strewn about a Bridgewater home, where the Labrador resided.

(Full Article)

See what I mean? I would have thought they’d know better than to take food from strangers. Not even Denali will accept treats from humans she doesn’t know, and she, like dogs, tends to think with her tummy a lot. I can’t figure out why those humans would steal a bunch of guns though, unless maybe they were going to hit a jewelry store soon? Hmph. I always thought it was silly for those stores to have elaborate window displays for engagement rings and shiny diamonds. That’s asking for trouble.

I’m just glad mommy doesn’t really care for that stuff. So there’s no reason for mean humans with guns to try and come and steal our stuff.
