See, I thought I was hungry so I went hunting in the field and found me a mouse. But I wasn’t as hungry as I thoughts I was so I left it to the side in case I wanted to come back for it. Though I figures the little insects would get it first too be honest. Mouse just doesn’t taste as good when it’s leftovers. Like cold chicken from the fridge. Not as yummy.

Well, since Mom found it she’s been making funny faces at me and frowning a lot. She keeps it up and she’ll need to invest in that smelly white stuff humans call “wrinkle cream” before she’s actually, you know, an old human.

Still don’t get why she’s upset though. I should be upset really. She threw away my leftovers without even asking me if I still wanted them. How ruuude!

Turns out Mom forgot to renew our domain for us.

So when a human named Angel brought it to Mom’s attention (finally!) Mom got it renewed. But then it took forever to come back up.

How could Mom forgets such an important thing? I dunno. Isis thinks Mom was busy looking for a job (any kind of job) and was too being with her entry level job search. I thinks that’s bull. I thinks she just doesn’t love us that much anymore.

And that is how I ended up on the floor trying to watch the Cowboys play while avoiding getting my pretty, fluffy, tail from being stepped on every time the humans jumped up and down. That Romo though, he’s so stoopid. I think he thought he was playing for the Giants ’cause he kept throwing the ball to the wrong team! They call them “interrceptions” but I swear he was doing it deliberately. I wasn’t the only one who thought so either. The humans all agreed with me. You sees, Romo was like one of those weight loss product you see advertised on tv late at night. He played, humans started loosing their appetite and then were eating less altogethers.

Mom was even ranting about the game on Twitter! Eventually it got so bad I left. Mom still had my seat and wasn’t giving it up, the humans were stomping and yelling, and no more food was being handed out. I decided to come over to teh interwebs since Mom left the computer on. Before I could do that though Mom came over and tried to steal the chair from me.

Theres I was, minding my business and then Mom pulls the chair back and tries to sit down. When she saw me she tried to pick me up and put me on the floor but I wasn’t buding. I dug my claws in and held on. Eventually Mom settled for Tweeting while standing up then heading back to watch the game.

Wut? You thinks you can steal my spot then come and sits here during commercials? I don’t thinks so. Oh noes Mom, you took my spot now I takes yours!

After the game I had to gives up the chair ’cause Mom wasn’t taking no for an answer. She was very upset since the Cowboys lost (BECAUSE OF ROMO! GRRRR!) so I decided to be generous and let her have her chair back. Aren’t I nice?

Instead she carried me outside, unlocked the car door and deposited me on the passenger’s seat before walking ’round to the other door and getting in. I soon found out that Mom wanted a burger for dinner and we were off to Sonic.

The drive to Sonic was kinda long, so I ended up napping in my seat while Mom drove. I had a good cat nap for a while, but I eventually woke up when we were almost there. I knew we were almost there ’cause Mom had to slow down. Apparently humans aren’t supposed to drive fast in places where a bunch of humans live, but on the highways they go faster. So when Mom had to start driving slower I knew we’d reached a town and were almost there.

Mom likes Sonic because their burgers taste better than the other food-made-fast places and because she can just drive up and never leave her car. Some people looked at me weird when they walked by our car and saw me curled up in the seat playing with a pen. What, have they never seen a cat in a car before? Silly humans.

On the way home though we had a bit of a scare ’cause some stoopid human waited until Mom wasn’t almost on top of him before pulling out in front of her. This was back on those roads that called “highways” so Mom and the other humans are kinda driving fast. Not this guy though, he was on a side road he stopped then waited until Mom was like three feet from him before pulling out real slow in front of her to get to the other side of the road where he pulled in front of another human driving a car. Mom managed to turn the car so that she was driving on the side for a bit. It was bumpy but she managed not to hit the idiot human. And she did it while driving fast and one-handed too. Her other hand was holding me in my seat so I wouldn’t go flying. If I’d been laying down like normal it would have been less scary, but I wanted to see what was so fun about sitting up and watching out the windows like Isis does. I think I would have preferred not to know how stupid some humans are.

That brings up another point, why do humans have late night shows on T.V. that talk about things like colon cleanse reviews? You just need to get out on the road with the stupid humans that drive. That’ll take care of ya!

When we got home Mom left me in the car so she could carry the food in without me getting under foot. I was hurt. Do I get in the way whenever there’s food? Of course not! I just like to show my appreciation for the delicious scents, and if the humans drop something all the better! But Mom came and got me as soon as she put the food down in the house. Isis and I both got pieces of Mom’s burger. I should have gotten more though ’cause I went with Mom and kept her company.

I sent the link to Mom from an anonymous email account (anonymous@kitty-kitty.net) so she wouldn’t know it was me. Smart huh?

Today I saw Mom take the quiz. Actually she took it twice, I’m guessing one for each of us. The first one didn’t have a very interesting score, but the second quiz…

She’s been eyeballing Isis ever since! And when Isis jumped on the bed earlier Mom bolted off the bed and ran to the kitchen then she came back with a dish full of food for us. Not only was this fun, it’s been profitable too!

Although, Mom did sort of get me back earlier. She’s been acting so nervous ’round Isis that when I saw her taking a couple of pills earlier I thoughts maybe I pushed it too far.

Thankfully they turned outs to be her regular vitamin stuff she takes. She takes those before every meal regularly. I was scared, imagine if she was frightened enough and she ended up having to go through those things that the famous humans go to? I’d hate to see my Mom at a mental hospital or a drug rehab. She’d be miserable, I just know it. No anime for her, not to mention, we wouldn’t be able to visit.

My Mom’s sly, turning the joke on me like that. I wonders if it was on purpose and she knew it was me? Nah!

If you don’t know hows to play the game I’ll be happy to tell you how. Now you need at least two people to play and you can play this game with furriends, humans, or both. One person is “it” ands they count to a determined number while covering their eyes. You has to be careful, some people cheat here! While the “it” person counts everyone hides. When they finish counting they say “ready or not, here I come” and they looks for people. First one found is the next “it” person. You can always run to another spot if the “it” person gets too close to you, buts you have to remain unseen. I recommend only experienced players attempt that.

This is a good spot to hide. It’s got tall clovers and lets you duck down and see through the leaves without being seen. Always make sure to scout your hidey-hole to make sure it’s not exposed on a side or that someone else is nearby.

You should also try to keep an eye on the “it” person if you can. ‘Cause, like I said, some cheat. Isis is a big cheater. So make sures they counts to the right number and that they covers their eyes!

Keeping an eye out for them is important, but when the “it” person comes looking for ya, you have to be quick and duck down so they don’t see you.

See, just like this! Now the “it” person can’t see you and they’ll walk right on by.

Err. I forgots to mention that mom is really good at this game too. When she’s “it” it can be really toughs to hide from her. But the challenge makes it all the more fun.
