Then she got the water gun. It wasn’t so much fun then.

Well, Mommy’s throat still hurts, but she can talk again today and when Denali went outside for a little while Mommy insisted on us going out too. Denali in her black jacket, me in my pink one, and Mommy in…..her sweats and a long sleeve t-shirt. Oh yes Mommy, that was brilliant.

And now Mommy is getting ready and gathering up her things because she wants to go to this cafe that has wireless internet and good tea. Wants to chitty chat with other people on their laptops and netbooks, drink some funny tea, and work on a faster connection. Never mind the fact she has to get out in the wind AT NIGHT and drive up there to do this.

She really doesn’t want to get better, does she?

At least she’s been taking her medicine regularly. But where did this funny weather come from? It’s April now, almost May, it’s supposed to be warm, why is it went and windy again?

Other then that, today was a very dull, boring, bad day. It’s been really windy here these past few days so going out wasn’t much fun, but at least I could go out. Not today though. Today it rained. And it wasn’t just a little bit of rain, or a lot a bit of rain that came and went, no it rained all day long. In fact, it’s still raining outside. Mom says it’s not raining but “misting”. I don’t cares what you call it, water is falling from the sky and I can’t go outside. So not fair!

I hate the rain. It’s wet, makes your fur icky, makes mud that gets everywhere and is a pain to clean from your coat. Not to mention, if you get more then a little bit on your paws teh humans wanna gives you a bathe right away. I don’t want anymore bathes so I didn’t even try to get outside today.

I just sat, in the window, all day and watched the rain fall down. Waiting for it to stop. It didn’t stop. When it wasn’t raining it was doing what humans call “sprinkling” and then it’d rain some more before it started “misting”.

Ah, I can hear the drops hitting against the windows harder. That means it’s no longer misting now but raining again.

I hope it doesn’t rain tomorrow too. I probably won’t get to go outside tomorrow either ’cause it’ll be muddy. grrr

But I don’t need blankets today to stay warm! Denali usually naps in the old man’s room in the mornings, but today she came out and laid on the kitty blankets on the couch with me.

For a while we weren’t allowed on the couch anymore, mainly because Shizuku tore one of the seats and Denali sharpened her claws on it. But the humans let us back on it now. Which is good because, aside from the kitchen, the living room is the warmest room in the house.

See, Denali is big and fluffy and very warm. I like to lay against her because she keeps me warm. My own living, breathing, and purring heater!

Denali is so sweet, she just loves taking naps with me and keeping me warm!
